Moving In Tales of an Unlicensed Marriage Bruce Littlefield 9781480050815 Books

When I learned that Bruce Littlefield had written this book about moving to the country from the city, I preordered it so as to get it as quickly as possible when it was released. As soon as it arrived, I dug right in. I loved reading it and didn't want to put it down and didn't want it to end. Time after time as I read, I laughed out loud imagining the scenes Bruce painted with words. Apparently Bruce's house in the country is close to where I now live and I recognized many of the places he mentioned. That of course made the book all that much more fun for me. Moving In now goes to the top of the you-must-read-this pile I've created for my hubby. Even if you do not know the places mentioned in Moving In, there are many laughs awaiting those lucky enough to buy and read this delightful book. Now, Mr. Bruce, I hope you will write more books about adventures in the country and in the restaurant business.

Moving In Tales of an Unlicensed Marriage Bruce Littlefield 9781480050815 Books Reviews

I thought the book was very humorous. It was written well and easy to read. It was a unique way of describing a chapter in someone's life. Couldn't put the book down.
This book was hilarious and relatable!!! I enjoyed this book very much, and I chuckled my way through the whole thing and I couldn't put it down!!!
Bruce gives us wonderful stories of their life in the Hudson Valley. As a fellow local, with wit and charm, I laughed through every episode. I heartedly recommend it .
I downloaded this book to my yesterday to read over the weekend. I decided to just read a little of it yesterday and finish it later. Once I started reading, I could not put it down and read the whole thing! From the very beginning, Bruce's antics will have you laughing out loud! From the pink chairs, the West Nile virus and the mouse poop, I laughed the entire way through! If you are looking for something to brighten your mood, pick up a copy of this book! You won't be disappointed!!
Bruce Littlefield is a trip! He's funny, creative and understanding. I went to high school with Bruce, so of course I like to support him. He always had a great sense of humor and made people laugh. He's still got it! Way to go Bruce! We're proud of you!
Reading any book or article by Bruce Littlefield never ceases to put a smile on your face. In this book in particular, which is his personal story, hysteria ensues and the end of the book comes far too quickly!
While this sub-genre of writing (gay couple moves to country, humor ensues) has been done several times before, it was nice to see a relatively happy couple make the move. A quick, fun read, nothing too deep, but an enjoyable read nonetheless. And I didn't feel like Scott was going to hit Bruce upside the head with a frying pan every other page, unlike the bickering Beekman Boys.
